I am afraid I do not know of any available replacement. Aldi sold these units some time ago and I have not seen them again in the store or anywhere else. My own unit is still going well, but I have been keeping an eye on other units in case mine eventually breaks down. The Jaycar store has some good ones.

You can see them on their website. And of course you can Google 'weather stations' to get an idea of what's available. There are some very attractive units available now with colour screens etc. This indication clearly indicates that the system uses all the bars composing a number.

There are 2 possibilities: the battery cannot (or no more) make a difference between the bars. A battery Change may help or it is a k.o.of the system. This last solution will be the out of the System, definitively. If these values are on the main Station, try to reconnect the 2 stations, by holding CH pushed till the values of the remote station are going on and out. Only then, push TX. Hoping to have helped you, FW. If everything else than the indoor humidity is OK, as you have written, there may be a problem of batteries getting empty.

A change of them would be a test to see the reaction of the indoor humidity. At the back of the main station, you have two rows of buttons. In the lower row at the very left position is a button to see first the maximum value, at the second pus the minimum value and at the third push to go back at the normal value. I think trying this may already help. Have a look at the button; it may be in and blocking the minimal value. At the right hand side on the back is a very small button to reset the whole system.

It may help, too; you will have to make all the changes you have made when you got the main station and reintroduce some vaules. I hope this can help you. Best wishes from Luxembourg, FW. I suppose that the 2 Units still are in the same locations they save been before. There is a possibility to have a new electronic appliance using the same433.92 waves.Temperature and air humidity flash on the main station., after a battery Change. If not, push the button CH for 3 seconds. Push Tx button shortly (in the outside battery location.) The outside.unit starts sending informations.

A red sign appears. After a Moment the outside values should appear on channel 1 of the parent unit. They flah for 3 minutes and then stop flashing and are stable. Do not push the TX button, as doing so destroys the communication. You also may use the Manual way: Keep CH pushed and wait for the flashing outside values. Then push Tx. The channel indication may no more appear because it is broken, ruined.

I hope this may help you. You have a very good question. We have an interference of 2 signals. The problem is which part is interfering, the main part of the weather station or the outside station. The outside part has 433.92 Mhz as frequency range. It cannot be changed.

Basically, the main station should not send any signals. As the outside part can send 100 meter away, I do not think that you can move it so that it does not reach the doorbell.

May be the doorbell can change ist frequency range. If it cannot, then I think you must make a choice: doorbell or weather station. Hope I could help somewhat. You may push the mose/set button for about 3 seconds and the year number will flash. Push +/clock or -//Zone to get the right number. Push Mode/Set to confirm. Then the month will flash.

Same procedure to get the right number. Confirm and you get the day number flashing. Same procedure as usual. Then the minutes flash. After them the 12/24 hours choice. At the end, you may have to choose the correct time zone and the moon will be calculated automatically. All this, takes a few minutes and good nerves. Hoping that this could help you.

Yours sincerely, FW. Hi, can anyone suggest a solution to the 'problem' we are having.

We've had the weather station for a number of years. This morning when we came downstairs the base unit was 'beeping' about once a minute. I had a look at the manual and identified that the low battery light for the outdoor sensor was showing, so I changed the battery. I had assumed that the beeping noise was an alert for this, but it's still doing it!

Never had this before and can't see anything about it in the manual. Any ideas welcome:). Aldi is a German company. They often have promotions for a week and these promotions never reappear. I think this is the case of our weather station. Living in Luxembourg (Europe), we have a weekly catalogue of the promotions.

This station never has reappeared after I had bought my station. There were 2 other models of 2 other manufactorers. So your chances are low-sorry-, but this seems to be the truth.

You just may try the website of Ascot.at (at= Austria). May be you can find an helpside or a contact address. As you have a old model, chances are really small to get the same weather outdoor station.I have mine for 2 years now; I have bought the whole set for 20 Euros= 22 US dollars. Looking for a new weather station may be the best solution, I am afraid.

Hoping that I could help, FW. I still have my User manual and LL.I is never described. In my opinion there is no transmission problem, as the externe unit shows this message. If it is OK, it will show the right informations. It seems not to do that. For me there is a problem in the outside unit only. Have a look at the Celsius/Fahrenheit button, if it is really at the right spot and not between both spots. As you have changes the batteries, you will have to start the the whole starting process again, but I think this will not help as the outside is not working correctly.

I have a little curious looking email address you may contact: service@produktservice.info Pay attention to K not c as it is in German. This is indicated on my User Manual.Hoping to have been able to help. Yours sincerely FW.
